Meet The Team
JESSE DANFORD / CEO
Jesse founded Elements Design back in 2006 with roots in landscaping and snow removal, but it was his drive to understand a largely overlooked problem that shaped the company into what it is today. Noticing a gap that most people — including himself early on — didn't fully understand, he dove deep into the world of stormwater management. With 15 years in landscaping and another 5 focused on stormwater, he now leads the company with a clear sense of purpose: keeping stormwater facilities healthy so the waterways people live and work around stay clean. Jesse deeply cares for his employees and keeps communication open. He excels in knowing everyones strengths and helping them fullfill their potential.
Outside of work, Jesse can usually be found with a good cup of coffee in hand, out on a long run, or spending time with his family.
ANDY LONG / Senior Equipment Operator
Andy brings 30 years of heavy machinery experience to the team, and it shows in everything he does. Originally from Alaska, he has a steady, skilled presence on the job site — operating the excavator to clear overgrown vegetation and built-up sediment from stormwater facilities, and turning to the shop when equipment needs repair to keep the crew moving. Since joining Elements Design in 2019, Andy has been the one to handle the demanding, technical work that keeps the equipment used for maintenance running the way they should. He strives to always keep the work flowing and getting things done.
When he's not on the job, you'll find him hunting or out on a long walk through the mountains.
SUNNY TREVINO / Operations Manager
Born in Bozeman, and growing up on a farm in Manhattan, MT, he has lived in the area his whole life. Joining the team in the winter of 2016, Sunny started as a sidewalk shoveler. Slowly Sunny went from being on the field crew to taking care of the office work. Combining field experience with operational planning, Sunny strives to make things easier for the whole crew. While others are out in the field, doing the stormwater facility maintenance, Sunny is in the office doing the behind the scenes operations that help things run smoothly. Performing stormwater inspections, record keeping and daily operations are a few of the things Sunny does here at Elements Design Inc.
Sunny loves people and getting to know others more than just surface level. On the days he is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, cooking a good meal, and offering his help to others in practical ways.
Aaron moved to Bozeman on a sunny day of August 23, 2017. He hails from the northwestern area of Wisconsin. Aaron’s great attitute and proactiveness makes him a great addition to the team. On the job his workmates call him by his middle name, Jerome. He shows up everyday ready to work and have a good laugh with his work buddies. Aaron joined the team in fall of 2024 not knowing what he was getting into. When spring rolled around, he started learning about what it takes to maintain and manage stormwater facilities. He is now well versed in what it takes to make sure that a stormwater facility is functioning as intended.
Fun facts: He really loves his cheese curds and cheese curds love him. He does not disappoint his wisconsin ancestors with his love of cheese. When he isn’t in the field, he’s looking for more places to enjoy cheese curds, he likes playing video games online with friends,
